Dennis Jenkins
Asesor de organizaciones, emprendedor y músico multiinstrumentista
Dennis was born in San Antonio Texas on December 25, 1962 to Robert W and Sandra P. Jenkins. He has two brothers, Bobby and Raleigh. He married his wife Jennifer in 1983 and graduated Texas A&M University in 1985 with a Degree in Entomology.
After graduation, Dennis and Jennifer returned to San Antonio and Dennis went to work at ABC in San Antonio for his father. In 1987, Dennis’ father sold the family pest control business to Waste Management and Dennis went to work with Waste in Nashville TN.
In 1989, Dennis resigned from Waste Management and left Nashville to move to Dallas to start an ABC office. Since that time ABC DFW has grown to over 185 employees. ABC is the largest independent pest control company in the DFW Metroplex, and is currently listed 45st by Pest Control Technology Magazine.
In 2008 Dennis and his team came up with the concept of “Anteater Advocates” which is an internal service organization giving our employees the opportunity to volunteer to serve others. In addition to monthly service volunteer opportunities at food pantries, this program also provides monthly pest control service to over 100 organizations in the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas. Currently, those services have a value of $275,000 each year. We feel that providing our services at no cost allows the charitable organization take money that was already earmarked for an expense and use it instead to provide the services that they provide to needy people. Dennis’s wife Jennifer works with ABC and is coordinator for Anteater Advocates. The motto for Anteater Advocates is “Caring for those who care for others” and ABC is actively trying to grow our list as we continue to be blessed by our growing company.
ABC is a family owned and operated business where employees are part of the family. The values at ABC are summed up as HUGS – H- Humor, U – Unfaltering Integrity, G –Growth Oriented and S – Selfless Attitude. We feel blessed by our co-workers and by our customers and mostly by God who is at every meeting and every interaction. ABC’s motto is “It’s not just about what we do – It’s also about who we are”
